Tentec is a world-leader in the design and manufacture of hydraulic bolt tensioning systems used in such diverse industries as petrochemical, offshore oil and power generation.  Due to its success and continued expansion the company is seeking to fill three key positions in its team.

Sales Engineer

Reporting to the Sales Director, the successful candidate will be qualified to degree/HNC level in a Mechanical Engineering discipline with some sales experience within an engineering environment.

It is expected that some twelve weeks a year will involve international travel with particular emphasis on the development of new horizon markets, establishing an agent network an where necessary, promoting directly to end users. Some domestic sales are also anticipated.

Knowledge of a second European language would be advantageous

Marketing Co-ordinator

A new position offering an opportunity to establish the operational foundation for all Tentec’s marketing activities.  The role will include market research & database building and new product launches through to web site development and exhibitions. 

An attractive position for a graduate with a minimum of 3 years experience of industrial marketing and CIM qualifications. 

A level of expertise in IT and an appreciation of engineering are essential.

Development Engineer

An exciting role assisting in the design and development of new products, leading to on-site commissioning.  The successful candidate will be innovative with a practical approach to problem solving. 

UK and overseas travel will be necessary and involve liaison with engineers at all levels. 

This position requires a Mechanical Engineer qualified to degree/HNC standard, with experience in either development and/or design, including the use of Pro/Engineer 3D CAD..
